Aberdeenshire Farming Museum, which is situated within Aden Country Park, has been approved as a Recognised Collection of National Significance by the Scottish Museums Council (SMC).

Managed by the Scottish Museums Council (SMC) on the behalf of the Scottish Government, the aim of the scheme is to celebrate, promote and invest in the nationally significant museum and gallery collections around Scotland held outside the nationally run institutions.
