This castle was built between 1575 1636, 6th laird, Michael Fraser, Castle Fraser is the most elaborate Z-plan castle in Scotland.

One of the castles most innovating rooms is the Great Hall. Te castle has lots of family portraits scattered around the castle including one by Raeburn, and many strikingly beautiful carpets, curtains and cutlery.

The castles’ grounds are magnificent; there are ponds, mixed woodland and open farmland. It is the perfect ideal place for a scenic walk.

There is also a shop, so any visitor is welcome.
