Footdee is a delightful, compact little community - the stone-built cottages are a testament to the ferocity of the weather. Once exclusively a fishing village, Footdee is located very close to the mouth of the River Dee. The famous Silver Darling restaurant is located in Pocra Quay, Footdee. Easy to reach by public transport; take the (First Aberdeen) bus 13A from the city centre.
